{"id":936,"date":"2006-06-05T18:05:57","date_gmt":"2006-06-05T18:05:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/marialiberati.com\/blog2\/2006\/06\/05\/blog-entry\/"},"modified":"2006-06-05T18:05:57","modified_gmt":"2006-06-05T18:05:57","slug":"blog-entry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marialiberati.com\/freshsite\/2006\/06\/05\/blog-entry\/","title":{"rendered":"Dear Diary, Ciao Bella, Roma!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Today I am writing from sunny Rome&#8230;<br \/>\nThe flight was wonderful, can&#8217;t say the same about the food on the plane- that was terrible!! <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">But that&#8217;s okay: I was dreaming of my breakfast (a prima collazione) in Rome!!<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">I couldn&#8217;t wait to get my first cup of authentic cappuccino and a real cornetto (pronounced cor-neh-toe) &#8211; the Italian version of the croissant. Loyal to that idea, my first stop was <strong>Giolitti<\/strong>&#8211; one of Rome&#8217;s most famous coffee bars. Now my most perplexing dilemma was what flavor of cornetto I was going to take. Should I go for the healthy version which is called &#8220;integrale&#8221; (that means whole wheat and is made with honey, no sugar)- or should it be the one with Italian pastry cream inside? I took the integrale\u0092- there will be plenty of pastries with the authentic Italian cream in the coming days. Anyway, it was a great choice. I can confidently say that healthy never tasted so yummy!! <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">What a perfect way to wake all of your senses up in the morning!!
