Let it first blossom, then bear fruit, then ripen&#8221; Epictetus<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.marialiberati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/figtree-3.jpg?fit=1024%2C871&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8758\"\/><figcaption>Fig Tree<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>Exciting Day&#8230;my little fig tree has grown and it was finally  time to take it out of its&#8217; warm sheltered place in my sun room to a big plot of ground of  its&#8217; own..I always dreamed of having my own little fig tree, reminding me of the luscious delights I&#8217;ve experienced from fig trees in Italy and France, Yet closer to home reminding me of the fig trees both of my grandparents grew in their little concrete backyard in  South Philadelphia and West Philadelphia. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>As a child I didn&#8217;t understand  why both grandparents  planted their fig trees and what it meant to them..but now I understand..it is a reminder of a taste, a time in Italy..where the figs are a season, a time ,a taste..For me too now it is a memory of  a taste, a season in Italy..<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Have you grown your own fig tree?
