Share it with us here in the Comments..<\/p>\n\n\n<p>One of my all time favorites was a nominee in a past Academy Awards for&nbsp; Foreign Film Category- Il Postino (The Postman) with one of my favorite Neapolitan actors- Massimo Troisi..it was a fictional story based on some facts about the poet Pablo Neruda\u2026poetry makes a romantic pairing with food also<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Here is a spaghetti dish made especially by the main character Mario..have a listen to the <a href=\"http:\/\/search.yahoo.com\/search?p=soundtrack+from+Il+Postino&amp;toggle=1&amp;cop=mss&amp;ei=UTF-8&amp;fr=vz-portal\">soundtrack<\/a>..just as beautiful as the movie and the dish\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/search.yahoo.com\/search?p=soundtrack+from+Il+Postino&amp;toggle=1&amp;cop=mss&amp;ei=UTF-8&amp;fr=vz-portal\">ll Postino<\/a>: <strong>Spaghetti alla Mario Ruoppolo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">di Michael Radford e Massimo Troisi<\/h6>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mangiarebene.com\/marinate\/cinema\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mangiarebene.com\/includes\/showthumb.asp?JpegImage=img_cinema_1825.jpg&amp;from=preparazione\" alt=\"Il Postino: Spaghetti alla Mario Ruoppolo\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spaghetti alla Mario Ruoppolo<\/h5>\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h6>\n\n\n<p>for 6 servings:<\/p>\n\n\n<p>1 lb spaghetti<br \/>6 artichokes<br \/>1 1\/2 lbs fresh, red, ripe tomatoes<br \/>2 cloves of garlic<\/p>\n\n\n<p>3 tblsps extra virgin ollive oil<br \/>salt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions<\/h6>\n\n\n<p>Clean artichokes and cut off the hard exterior leaves and retain the heart of the artichoke.Thinly slice the artichoke heart. Place 3 tablespoons olive oil in saute pan, when hot place in saute pan with&nbsp; artichoke slices.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Cut tomatoes into cubes, discard seeds and place tomatoes into artichoke mixture. Squash tomatoes with fork and then&nbsp; add&nbsp; in garlic cloves&nbsp; Continue sauteeing for about 15 minutes add in basil and salt and pepper to taste, remove from heat.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Boil spaghetti and cook till al dente, drain.&nbsp; Add into artichoke mixture and toss spaghetti&nbsp; till coated with sauce.
