{"id":8224,"date":"2018-12-17T05:53:17","date_gmt":"2018-12-17T12:53:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.marialiberati.com\/?p=8224"},"modified":"2018-12-17T05:53:17","modified_gmt":"2018-12-17T12:53:17","slug":"from-rome-to-abruzzo-moving-holiday-feast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marialiberati.com\/freshsite\/2018\/12\/17\/from-rome-to-abruzzo-moving-holiday-feast\/","title":{"rendered":"From Rome to Abruzzo is a Moving Holiday Feast."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>copyright 2018 Maria Liberati\/Art of Living, PrimaMedia,inc<\/p>\n\n\n<p>From the airport in Rome, on the way to Abruzzo is a delicious feast all along the way ,stopping for freshly baked cornetti and cappuccino in the center of Rome&nbsp; then ..an hour or so later on to a pizza for lunch and homemade zuppa inglese and espresso for dessert..and finally before arriving a stop for a light dinner of bruschetta topped with champignon mushrooms&nbsp; sauteed with local olive oil, fresh parsley, freshly ground black pepper all atop one of my favorite locally produced breads made from the potatoes of the Fucino valley in Abruzzo\u2026. a side dish of local pecorino cheese drizzled with local honey, a glass of Pecorino wine\u2026.and to end the meal..farm fresh apples in season and (of course) a piece of Holiday Panettone! As I always say\u2026 Fiumicino airport is a one day eating feast away&nbsp; from home a Holiday trip to the mountains of&nbsp; Abruzzo!!<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Buon Natale e Buon Anno per 2018 and 2019 from my house to yours!
