The salmon\u2019s been seared, and the cream has thickened. Linguine, which translates to &#8220;little tongues&#8221; in Italian, originated in the Liguria region of Italy.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Linguine was developed about 400 years ago and the noodle is a thin, flat noodle, with a narrow and elliptical shape causing it to be a more delicate pasta. &nbsp;The pasta has been known for being in seafood dishes opposed to the normal meat sauces. The pasta tends to be paired with thinner, lighter sauces when served. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Take a moment to imagine you\u2019re there at one of the local cafes, taking in the wonderful aromas of good, swirling and twirling your fork around the linguini!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>Oh, the Pastabilities!<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Grab your apron and make homemade pasta. It isn\u2019t that hard to make your very own pasta! For Linguine, the only handy equipment you\u2019ll need is a pasta press. Then start with two eggs, a cup of flour and get your hands dirty and in no time at all you\u2019ll have your own pasta!<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">If you aren\u2019t quite the chef, buying some linguini at your local market is just fine.
