Share it with us here in the Comments..<br \/>\nOne of my all time favorites was a nominee in a past Academy Awards for\u00a0 Foreign Film Category- Il Postino (The Postman) with one of my favorite Neapolitan actors- Massimo Troisi..it was a fictional story based on some facts about the poet Pablo Neruda\u2026poetry makes a romantic pairing with food also<br \/>\nHere is a spaghetti dish made especially by the main character Mario..have a listen to the <a href=\"http:\/\/search.yahoo.com\/search?p=soundtrack+from+Il+Postino&amp;toggle=1&amp;cop=mss&amp;ei=UTF-8&amp;fr=vz-portal\">soundtrack<\/a>..just as beautiful as the movie and the dish\u2026<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/search.yahoo.com\/search?p=soundtrack+from+Il+Postino&amp;toggle=1&amp;cop=mss&amp;ei=UTF-8&amp;fr=vz-portal\">ll Postino<\/a>: <strong>Spaghetti alla Mario Ruoppolo<\/strong><\/p>\n<h6>di Michael Radford e Massimo Troisi<\/h6>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mangiarebene.com\/marinate\/cinema\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mangiarebene.com\/includes\/showthumb.asp?JpegImage=img_cinema_1825.jpg&amp;from=preparazione\" alt=\"Il Postino: Spaghetti alla Mario Ruoppolo\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h5>Spaghetti alla Mario Ruoppolo<\/h5>\n<h6>Ingredients<\/h6>\n<p>for 6 servings:<br \/>\n1 lb spaghetti<br \/>\n6 artichokes<br \/>\n1 1\/2 lbs fresh, red, ripe tomatoes<br \/>\n2 cloves of garlic<br \/>\n3 tblsps extra virgin ollive oil<br \/>\nsalt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<h6>Directions<\/h6>\n<p>Clean artichokes and cut off the hard exterior leaves and retain the heart of the artichoke.Thinly slice the artichoke heart. Place 3 tablespoons olive oil in saute pan, when hot place in saute pan with\u00a0 artichoke slices.<br \/>\nCut tomatoes into cubes, discard seeds and place tomatoes into artichoke mixture. Squash tomatoes with fork and then\u00a0 add\u00a0 in garlic cloves\u00a0 Continue sauteeing for about 15 minutes add in basil and salt and pepper to taste, remove from heat.<br \/>\nBoil spaghetti and cook till al dente, drain.\u00a0 Add into artichoke mixture and toss spaghetti\u00a0 till coated with sauce.
