Every sunset upsets me because another day has gone by\u201d. <\/strong><br \/>\nSo another day and weekend has\u00a0gone by..but not without trying some new food experiences.. a great recipe for an Oscar viewing party,for those of us observing the Awards from afar\u2026<br \/>\n<strong>Tomato &amp; Mozzarella Appetizer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>(excerpted from the Gourmand World Award Winning Book- <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marialiberati.com\">The Basic Art of Italian Cooking-Holidays &amp; Special Occasions-2nd edition<\/a>) <\/strong><br \/>\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_w44aDfYZRss\/SWXgOKMQ69I\/AAAAAAAABx8\/tq1-v466nEQ\/s400\/A.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n*1\/2 lb mozzarella di buffalo<br \/>\n*1\/4 cup finely chopped almonds<br \/>\n*1 tablespoon chopped pinoli nuts<br \/>\n*1 egg<br \/>\n* 1 salad tomato<br \/>\n*1 garlic clove<br \/>\n* fresh rosemary sprigs<br \/>\n*1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar glaze<br \/>\n*olive oil (for frying)<br \/>\nSlice mozzarella into slices (approximately 1\/2 \u201c thick). Beat whole egg in bowl. Place chopped pinoli and almonds on a flat plate. Heat some oil in saute pan.<br \/>\nDip mozzarella slices first into beaten egg, then coat with chopped nuts.
