From my antique window filter in a bit of the sun&#8217;s rays.<br \/>\nIt is 8 AM..the breakfast table is ready fruit, cornetti (Italian croissant), cappuccino,\u00a0juice..and a welcoming sight of \u00a0 a &#8216;dolce al cucchaio&#8217; ( a spoon dessert)..a delicious morning treat or dessert Bianco Da Mangiare (white pudding)&#8230;I prepared yesterday and<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.marialiberati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/bianco_mangiare.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-2750\" title=\"bianco_mangiare\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.marialiberati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/bianco_mangiare-150x150.jpg?resize=150%2C150&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Bianco da Mangiare (White Pudding)<\/strong><br \/>\nexcerpted from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marialiberati.com\/products-page\/bookstore\/the-basic-art-of-italian-cooking-holidays-special-occasions-second-edition\/\">The Basic Art of Italian Cooking: Holidays &amp; Special Occasions-2nd edition<\/a><br \/>\n2 ounces( \u00bd dl) almond milk<br \/>\n4 ounces (1 dl) milk<br \/>\n1 tsp (5 gr)\u00a0pure vanilla<br \/>\n2 tablespoons + 1 tsp (50 gr) sugar<br \/>\n1 cinnamon stick<br \/>\npeel of one half lemon-(in one or a few large pieces)<br \/>\n1tsp (5 gr) agar-agar powder or flakes\u00a0or other gelatine substitute<br \/>\nPlace almond milk, milk, sugar, cinnamon stick, vanilla and lemon zest in saucepan and heat on low heat for 10 minutes.<br \/>\nRemove from heat. Place in agar-agar powder and dissolve. Return to heat and keep stirring till becoming a dense cream. Take out lemon peel and cinnamon stick. Place pudding in a large mold or small molds. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
