L’estate (summer) is finally approaching here on the East Coast with a summer sun taht reminds one of a beautiful summer day in Rome  makes one want to reminsice of a beautiful summer day in Rome- it might be a stroll in Villa Borghese. Or an architectural tour through some of the many wonders (too many to list here). And by the way-if it is architecture you are interested keep up with Quatrocento by Sandra- blogs (here)about some of Italy’s architects from the medieval ages. But you know, food has an architecture to it- it’s construction, its’ deconstruction, its’ art, it’s beauty.. Just strolling through Rome’s city streets and while viewing the beauty of its’ architecture one can’t help but be in awe of the architecture of its beautiful foods- displayed in the windows or at the restaurants- from the elegant coffee bars- like Giolitti to the masterful creations of the world’s top chef-Heinz Beck-now creating his culinary works of art at Rome’e La Pergola Restaurant.<\/div>\n
Mariano Moroni, one of Italy’s top modern architects will be feastured in the next The Basic Art of Italian Cooking series and he just happens to be part of the talented group of  architects that come from Abruzzo. Food, art and architecture..a sunny summer stroll in Rome all part of La Dolce Vita..<\/div>\n
