Here&#8217;s some healthy and fun ideas to make yours<br \/>\nFor healthy \u00a0Holiday\u00a0dish for the grill this weekend here&#8217;s one of my favorite <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Salad\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Salad\">salad<\/a> recipes..easy to make..quick..healthy and it includes some grilled veggies&#8230;<br \/>\nA recipe for a simple, refreshing <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Greek salad\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Greek_salad\">Greek salad<\/a> on hot summer days. Try <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Grilling\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Grilling\">grilling<\/a> the tomatoes and red onion slices for some added flavor to this classic summer salad.<br \/>\nGrilled Greek Salad<br \/>\nYou will need:<br \/>\n1 large beefsteak tomato cut into 1\/2&#8243; slices<br \/>\n1 large red onion cut into 1\/2&#8243; slices<br \/>\n1 cucumber split lengthwise, deseeded and cut into 1\/4&#8243; slices<br \/>\n1 cup pitted kalamata olives<br \/>\n1 cup crumbled <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Feta\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Feta\">feta cheese<\/a><br \/>\n1 head romaine lettuce<br \/>\n1\/3 cup red <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Wine\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wine\">wine<\/a> <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Vinegar\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vinegar\">vinegar<\/a><br \/>\n1 cup <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Olive oil\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Olive_oil\">extra virgin olive oil<\/a><br \/>\n<a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Kashering Salt\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kashering_Salt\">Kosher salt<\/a> and black pepper<br \/>\nInstructions:<br \/>\nBrush the tomato and onion slices with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place on a hot grill and cook for one and a half minutes per side to achieve grill marks. Cut the slices in half and set aside while you assemble the dressing.<br \/>\nFruit Skewers are a fun idea and healthy as well:<br \/>\nMake a patriotic dessert with strawberries, watermelon, blueberries, banana slices and cherries. Alternate fruit pieces on skewers in ed white and blue colors and serve fresh!<br \/>\nRefreshments:<br \/>\nServe freshly squeezed lemonade over fresh strawberries.<br \/>\nServe freshly brewed <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Iced tea\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Iced_tea\">iced tea<\/a> with fresh orange slices and fresh mint leaves.<br \/>\nCold\u00a0 Pasta Salads;<br \/>\nToss cold pasta with red and <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Bell pepper\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bell_pepper\">green peppers<\/a>, cherry tomtaoes, yellow or green zucchini, chopped red onion to add a rainbow of color.<br \/>\nGrilled veggies:<br \/>\nCut up fresh veggies, marinate in a dressing made up of 1\/4 cup olive oil, 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar, fresh parsley and minced garlic.
