No worries!<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\"> What do you do when you have dinner guests coming over, and your planned dinner has just come out of the oven not exactly the way it was supposed to? <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">A reader first emailed me this question, and I could not resist: I had to talk on the phone with her about this. Plus, I can never resist conversing with another food devotee. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">I thought I would base today&#8217;s post on our conversation. There are many different ways to salvage a meal. Here is a tip I shared with her and many other readers in the past.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">Since our conversation today was about a ruined meatloaf, I am writing the instructions on how to salvage a ruined meatloaf and turn it into a gourmet meal. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">So, y<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">our meatloaf goes to pieces! Ughh!! What to do!!<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">First of all, preparation. To keep a meatloaf in form, bake it in a small loaf pan that has been buttered and dusted with fine breadcrumbs. Before baking the meatloaf, brush on a beaten egg white to help maintain its form.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\"><strong>However, if your meatloaf falls to pieces when you cut it, here is a way to save the day.<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">1. First, warm in a frying pan 1 tbsp of olive oil.<br \/>\n2. Place in 1 tbsp of chopped carrots, and 1 tbsp chopped celery. Fry lightly for 1minute.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">3. Pour in a cup of plain tomato sauce or passata di pomodoro.<br \/>\n4. Break up the meatloaf and place in pan.<br \/>\n5. Cut in pieces two slices of prosciutto and add in.<br \/>\n6. With wooden spoon, toss around the mixture and leave on the heat for about 3 minutes.<br \/>\n7. Take 1 ball of mozzarella (if possible use fresh) and chop into small squares. Add in and mix with wooden spoon.<br \/>\n8. Take store made cannelloni and use this mixture to fill.<br \/>\n9. Butter a casserole dish and place each cannelomi in as you fill them.<br \/>\n10. Cover with two small teaspoons of butter, grated cheese and some beschamel sauce.<br \/>\n11. Place in oven under broiler till begins to brown on top and serve.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">Thanks to Sue from Passaic NJ for her question.
