How to Make a Wine Cake

Have you ever wanted to capture the essence of your favorite wine in a cake? Well try this wine cake.. moist, delicious..it will become a favorite..

1 cup sugar

2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup dry white wine

3 eggs

1 tps vanilla extract

1 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup rum

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. line a round cake pan with parchment paper. Mix eggs and sugar in large bowl , blend with electric mixer or place in food processor and blend. When mixture is well blended and frothy add in white wine., olive oil and rum. Blend. Then sift flour and baking soda into the mixture, Blend till dough is smooth. Place in pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
