Soup is also important to eat because it not only warms you up, but it is also healthy. The right soups can be full of nutritious ingredients that keep you healthy in the winter.
Baked Pasta
And finally, a dish that is great for warming the oven, the house, and your belly. For those interested in a creamy dish with awesome flexibility, it’s hard to find a food with easier personalization than pasta. Tastes will be easy to please with the huge variety of pasta types, ridiculous numbers of sauces, and endless mix-in and topping combinations. All the equipment you need is a pan and an oven (and oven mitts), making this family of dishes some of the easiest comfort foods you’ll make this winter.
As you’re trying to decide what to prepare for your family during the winter holidays, keep in mind that not all winter meals have to be packed with sugars or unhealthy fats. There are many delicious options that are both hearty and healthy.
